THE PROBLEM. Ordinary B&W barcodes are highly conspicuous and obtrusive to their carefully designed background and the intended visual experience. While they carry useful information for their article's manufacturer or distributor, they are aesthetically objectionable to the consumers.
OUR SOLUTION. Inconspicuous Label Technology, where the information is designed to blend with its background and is almost unnoticeable by human observers under most viewing conditions. Yet, the information can be easily acquired by the installed base of barcode-scanners or smartphones deployed in their ordinary operational modes. Opthentic offers inconspicuous label solutions for hiding barcodes on BLACK and RED backgrounds and is developing similar solutions for WHITE, BLUE and GREEN backgrounds.
COMATIBILITY. Our Inconspicuous Barcode Label Technology uses standard materials and is compatible with most ordinary industrial and consumer printing processes such as: inkjet, laser, thermal transfer, screen printing, flexo and gravure.
